NGO Programme Latvia
There will be substantial support for the civil society sector through a €10.4 million fund for non-governmental organisations, and also new funding to promote decent work and dialogue between social partners and with public authorities. The grants will also provide funding to foster local and regional capacity building and institutional cooperation, research exchange and scholarships to students.

Bilateral cooperation
Under the agreement for 2009-14, the bilateral dimension is strengthened with more strategic cooperation being established at the programme level. Partnerships at project level will continue to be encouraged.
